What Lord Julius! What Rendering!

"Lord Julius" render went awry as shirt, tie knot, right hand etc didn't render. Have now fixed it, but thought the all black was kinda cool as it reminded me of some of the all black panels from the comic with just a floating head. Very effective and wonder if that could translate to animation. Hmm

Have now ordered a new computer so test rendering, and as such final rendering, too, should go a lot faster. We use Mental Ray which very much favors multiple cores and this one has 24. It arrives the 31st and is $5500, which is a lot more than I can afford - might need to pull the trigger on crowd funding.
