MSN features story regarding Cerebus' huge record.
Todd McFarlene:
We're two years away from Spawn being issue 300, that will tie Cerebus for the longest, and then #301 it becomes the longest running independent comic book in the history of America, so that's still going to happen, and so at some point once I'm done playing in all of these other sorts of ponds, I'll come back on a full time basis and then probably die at the board."

https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/07/26/almost-certain-death-spoilers-savage-dragon-225/
from the article: "It’s an achievement from one creative vision only matched in North American comics by Dave Sim" "Cerebus died unmourned and unloved in Cerebus #300 and went to Hell. And the Savage Dragon?" "And plenty, plenty more beside as the comic celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary in a similar fashion to Cerebus #300 – but at least with a different destination."

ALSO:
Figured out why Cerebus' mouth wasn't rendering - my software version isn't rendering it for some reason. Baffling. So upgrading - about time anyway...and on the upside hopefully means overall improvement in rendering performance.

Everett Dockery gives a blow by blow account sharing his experience on facebook playing the Cerebus card game Diamondback. Plus he made new decks. Here's a snippet

"We made 3 new decks. Black backs. The manilla colored ones would get marked on the back, warranting cheaters. These are firmer, thicker, and smoother.
On another note I'm about to lose 10 US Dollars."
